Axial-centrifugal fans
Axial-centrifugal fans, also called tubular centrifugal fans, in-line centrifugal fans, or mixed-flow fans, take a place between the vane axial fans and the scroll type centrifugal fans. The various configurations of axial-centrifugal fans differ with respect to the following features:
1. The fan wheel can have a flat back plate, or a conical plate back plate
2. The housing can be cylindrical, square, or barrel-shaped
3. The drive can be direct drive or belt drive
